The section that says Unit 1 Paper 1 Mark Scheme shows a past time table , it is quite misleading , i am hoping that you fix this problem and place the Mark Scheme for this one thank you. Can i also get the Mark Schemes for the years 2001 – 2009 if possible

Hi there
My name is Desmond Mohamed and I am Head of Physics at a boarding school in England. I am also a senior A level Physics examiner for the cambridge and London board for the past 20 years.
I have had a detailed look at the CAPE Physics papers including the exam report with great interest on your website. I see that 50% of the paper is about recall. I thought that high percentage died a very long time ago. An awful lot of the questions can be thought on mechanical teaching, something A level used to be in the early 1970s; no wonder the average mark on the report says 25/90 for paper 1 and 37/90 for paper 2.The papers are very elitest in origin and hence only applicable for the very able pupils.I would have thought when the organisers decided to start with the CAPE project they would want to make it accessible to as many candidates as possible without compromising the A level standard. All CAPE has done is replace the cambridge exam with their own; very little originality I am afraid to say.The furniture as we would say has only been rearranged.For a start why wern’t the questions put as structured ones where candidates can answer on the question paper. It’s disappointing thatit has been designed in this way.
